This is the relaxed cousin of the Italiano. Same idea, fewer cured meats, a lower price, and biltong instead of prosciutto.
It is the platter to put down when the evening is about the company rather than the catering.
The platter people order when they want something good on the table without making an occasion of it.
Take it out of the fridge about 30 minutes before you serve it. Gorgonzola and camembert taste like a different thing at room temperature than they do fridge cold, and it is worth the wait.
Add the Italiano alongside it if you want cured meats on the table as well, or a Simply Sweet to carry the evening past dessert.

Eight. Every Magies Vol platter is built for 8 people and there is no smaller or larger version, so you always know exactly what you are getting. For 16 people order two, and for 24 guests or more a grazing table set up on site usually works out better.
Yes, if you order before 09:00. Anything ordered before 09:00 is delivered the same day across Fourways, Bryanston, Sandton and Rosebank. Orders placed after 09:00 are delivered the next day, because every platter is packed fresh on the morning it goes out.
It arrives ready to serve and is at its best on the day. Keep it refrigerated and covered until you need it, then bring it out about 20 to 30 minutes before your guests arrive. Anything left over should go straight back into the fridge and be eaten the next day.
We deliver across Fourways, Bryanston, Sandton and Rosebank and the surrounding suburbs, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00. Collection from our kitchen can also be arranged. If you are just outside those areas, message us on 066 408 8267 and we will let you know.
