Sushi is the one platter on our menu that is genuinely time sensitive. Keep it refrigerated until the moment you serve it and eat it on the day it arrives, not the next.
If you are serving it later in the evening, order it for delivery as close to the event as our schedule allows rather than first thing. Tell us the time you need it and we will do what we can.

The tempura veg and avocado california rolls are vegetarian. Everything else on the platter is salmon, tuna or prawn. If you need more meat free rolls on it, tell us when you order.
There is raw fish on this platter in the sashimi, the nigiri and the handrolls. Standard advice in South Africa is for pregnant women to avoid raw fish, so we would suggest a different platter or a separate one alongside it. The tempura veg rolls are cooked.
Yes, the prawn california rolls contain prawn. If anyone in your group has a shellfish allergy, tell us when you order and we will adjust the platter.
Eight. Every Magies Vol platter is built for 8 people and there is no smaller or larger version, so you always know exactly what you are getting. For 16 people order two, and for 24 guests or more a grazing table set up on site usually works out better.
Yes, if you order before 09:00. Anything ordered before 09:00 is delivered the same day across Fourways, Bryanston, Sandton and Rosebank. Orders placed after 09:00 are delivered the next day, because every platter is packed fresh on the morning it goes out.
Serve it the day it arrives. Keep it refrigerated right up until you put it out, and do not hold it overnight. This is the one platter on our menu where that matters.
We deliver across Fourways, Bryanston, Sandton and Rosebank and the surrounding suburbs, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00. Collection from our kitchen can also be arranged. If you are just outside those areas, message us on 066 408 8267 and we will let you know.
